A warm welcome awaits you on this working hill farm in the foothills of Coastal Exmoor just a breath away from the beautiful Heddon Valley and the Lynton and Barnstaple steam railway.
Dogs, muddy boots and wet clothes welcome. |
Our lavish bedrooms include a kingsize four-poster with en-suite shower room with own adjoining lounge area with far reaching views of the farm and Exmoor, or the king size double with private bathroom. All rooms are equipped with colour TV/DVD, clock radio, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water.
The bathrooms have shaver points. Iron and ironing board can be made available on request. |

Breakfast is a served with the warmth of the wood fired Rayburn and seating at the large farmhouse table. On the buffet table you will find a selection of cereals, museli, fruit juices, prunes, grapefruit, yoghurt both flavoured and natural. To follow a traditional English breakfast, smoked salmon or the vegetarian option. Where possible we use local, homemade fair trade or organic produce. Any special dietary requirment can be catered for with prior notice.

Higher Bodley is the perfect place to relax and unwind, if you are a walker, cyclist or horse rider or just discerning wildlife and nature lover. Higher Bodley has it all with walks for all abilities direct from the farm, over Exmoor or on the coast path, taking in some of the breath taking views of the rugged Exmoor coast and the far reaching views across the Bristol Channel to Wales.
For the cyclist there are numbered rides and lots of rough moorland tracks for the more Adventurous.
Horse riding also plays a major part of Exmoor life, if you wish to bring your own horse we have super stabling and can provide straw and homegrown haylage.
