6th March All at Sea – Talk by Sue Sayer – Morethoe Village Hall – 2.00pm – 3.00pm Following on from her hugely popular and fascinating talk on Morte Point seals last year, Sue Sayer is coming back to Mortehoe Village Hall. This time in her talk ‘All At Sea’, she will share with us the breathtaking and amazing video footage of marine life encountered while conducting seal surveys from the sea. 7th March The Big Sin at The Big Sheep – The BIG sing is a choral event with many of North Devon’s top choirs being brought together by North Devon churches to celebrate a ‘Weekend of Joy’. The three Devon bishops – Bishop Jackie of Crediton, Bishop Nick and Bishop Robert will be hosting the event at The Big Sheep’s EWE2 Arena on Saturday 7th March with an Easter message to their flock here in North Devon. Free entry to all choirs & anyone wishing to listen tot he music then a normal £2.50 charge to visit The Big Sheep for some indoor play and to meet our expanding flock as they are in the middle of lambing! 30th MarchEaster Extravagance at The Big Sheep – Our annual Easter Eggstravaganza Festival will run from the 30th March to the 13th April. So don’t worry if the Easter Bunny forgets to deliver eggs this Easter because The Big Sheep will have enough chocolate eggs hidden throughout their world famous family attraction to share with everyone this Easter. as well as having over 30,000 chocolate eggs to find, there will be something for all the family to enjoy this Easter – a great selection of rides and attractions, great shows and the Easter bunny will be out and about at intervals throughout the day to meet and greet the children.
30th MarchFind the Chicks at Clovelly – Children receive a village map on entry to Clovelly. This is to mark the location of a number of Easter chicks perched up and down the cobbled High Street to the quay. If they spot at least 10 chicks they can return the map to the Visitor Centre reception to win an Easter egg. If they spot all 15 chicks they will win an even bigger prize!
