A family-owned business offering three quality self-catering, dog friendly barn conversions set in a secluded valley in North Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Exmoor National Park in Combe Martin, North Devon. 
Our three Grade II listed bank-barn conversions have been renovated to a high standard, retaining many original features, including exposed stone walls, oak beams and solid English oak flooring. Private gardens with South facing sun terraces await at each cottage for alfresco dining or lounging in the sunshine with a good book. Our doggy visitors have their own separate dog garden and a three-acre field to play in too.

Our Cottages:
Nutcombe Cottage: Sleeps 4 in one king size and one twin/super-king room
Nutcombe Barn: Sleeps 6 in two king size en-suites and a twin/super-king en-suite
The Cider house: Sleeps 3-4 in one king size en-suite and one single/small twin en-suite
We can accommodate 14 guests in total across the three cottages making Nutcombe Holiday Cottages the perfect escape for couples, friends and families.
For larger groups we have the opportunity for Nutcombe Barn and Cider House to be taken as one larger property sleeping up to ten people in five en-suite rooms. There is a secret door to open the two cottages upstairs at living room level making the two cottages fantastic for special occasions like Christmas and New Year or when family gatherings have outgrown your own home.

Here you will enjoy fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, stunning landscaped gardens, the serenity of no road noise and appreciate the sounds of nature again. All of this only a five-minute drive to the beautiful beach at Combe Martin passing five local pubs along the way, Or why not head for the hills and walk the South West Coast Path or Exmoor just a mile up the lane. With the stunning North Devon beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde just 20 minutes’ drive away, Nutcombe Holiday Cottages offers the best of coast and country.
Doggy Heaven
Here at Nutcombe we love to welcome dogs to stay and enjoy a holiday in North Devon. Each cottage welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs (size dependent). We make a nominal charge of £25 per stay for up to two dogs to help in the up-keep of our dog friendly areas. We keep this separate from our main prices so our non-doggy visitors are not charged for this. All things considered, Nutcombe Holiday Cottages, offers the perfect escape to a largely unchanged stretch of Devon’s Northern coast. Come and see for yourself!

WOW WOW WOW!
Just returned from fantastic stay in June at Nutcombe Cottage a beautifully appointed cleverly designed and well-equipped detached cottage with stunning views from the lounge and balcony above ground floor bedrooms leading to secure gardens and absolutely perfect for our Cavapoo Ruby. Lovely Host Jackie warmly welcomed us with a delicious homemade cream tea. WOW! Jackie’s husband David invited us to use the cottages adjacent mown lawn/secure paddock for playtime with Ruby which was brilliant and to wander Nutcombe’s beautifully maintained pretty terraced gardens and lower valley walk which we did and take in the stunning view. The cottage was beautifully rustic very clean and cosy inside with quality furnishings very, very well equipped. Fantastic hot powerful shower – WOW and very, very comfortable bedding for Best ever sleep. Zzzzz….. Pure tranquillity and Late morning breakfast on the balcony; such peace and quiet only birdsong -and natural spring water from the tap – we’ve not had that anywhere else except Nutcombe – absolutely priceless. WOW. Jackie’s recommendations for fresh local restaurants etc were excellent particularly Sunday Roast at Black Venus Challacombe and Watersmeet at Lynmouth great for a stunning dog walk.
