Select a book from our bookshelf, wrap yourself in your duvet, and unwind in the serene atmosphere. Each of our cabins and shepherd’s huts is distinct and charming, handcrafted by local carpenters with custom-made beds, sheltered seating areas, and wood burners to keep you warm and snug.

Every hut includes its own private garden area with a hammock and pathways leading to the stream, along with a private hot shower and restroom.

The Cabin (sleeps 4)

The Cabin is perfect for couples or families, it can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children (+1 younger child). A beautiful unique rustic hut. A small and cosy space, which is both private and peaceful with its own outside space.
Outside there is a lovely covered kitchen area with sink and shelves, dining table and sofa. There is a fire pit to cook on with your own Dutch oven, BBQ grill, frying pan, cutlery and plates. Enjoy a good book in the hammock or just sit and admire the views where you can truly switch off and relax. The Cabin has its own en-suite private hot shower with biodegradable ‘Faith by Nature’ toiletries and wee-shack. Flushing toilets are a short walk from the hut which are shared with other campers.

The Hut (sleeps 2)

The Hut is a great romantic hideaway for couples or peaceful hidden retreat for solo travellers. The unique rustic shepherd’s hut is a small and cosy space, simple but beautiful. It is both private and peaceful with its own outside space. Outside there is a lovely rustic covered kitchen, eating area and fire pit to cook on with your own Kelly Kettle, BBQ grill, frying pan, cutlery and plates. The Hut has its own private hot shower with biodegradable ‘Faith by Nature’ toiletries and wee-shack. Flushing toilets are a short walk from the hut which are shared with other campers.

The Nook (sleeps 4)

The Nook is perfect for couples or families, it can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. A beautiful shepherd’s hut nestled in a sunny corner of the field. Outside there is a lovely covered kitchen with eating area and fire pit to cook on with a BBQ grill, frying pan, pots and pans, cutlery and plates.The Nook has its own private hot shower with biodegradable ‘Faith by Nature’ toiletries and wee-shack (wees only). Flushing toilets are a short walk from the hut which are shared with other campers.

The Hideout (sleeps 4)

The Hideout is perfect for couples or families, it can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. A lovingly handcrafted shepherd’s hut with bunk beds and wood burner to keep you toasty warm. Outside there is a lovely covered kitchen, eating area and fire pit to cook on with your own Kelly Kettle, BBQ grill, frying pan, cutlery and plates. The Hideout has its own private hot shower with biodegradable ‘Faith by Nature’ toiletries and wee-shack (wees only). Flushing toilets are a short walk from the hut which are shared with other campers.

Please note: The campsite is electricity free and does not have much lighting at night, so torches are essential. Each hut has its own USB points and are lit up at night by fairy lights.

Strawfields – Camping

Poppy Patch is our tent camping field with everything you need for a great memorable holiday. Each pitch is separated by long grass and hedgerows to the side. They have beautiful views across the fields. There are only 6 pitches, no over crowding.
