April is a wonderful time to stay on a farm as new life enters the world; whether it’s chicks, lambs, calves or piglets (check with the farm what their stoke is, all are different), to nature’s beautiful wildlife; tadpoles, birds nesting (ducklings, owl chicks, blue tits) and blooming Spring flowers from daffodils, crab apple blossom to Devon’s county flower, the primrose littering Devon’s banks.

It’s a great time to enjoy the Devon countryside and spend some quality time together over the Easter holidays or a short break.
You’ll always have a genuine warm welcome when you come and stay in our North Devon farm holiday cottages and bed and breakfasts, as the owners live on site and are happy to share their knowledge & tips of the area with you, to enhance your stay. Many serve delicious, local food from the farm or sourced locally, including freshly baked Devon scones and cakes.
North Devon’s farm cottages and B&Bs, are set in glorious countryside and within North Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so why not find a warm sunny spot, in a totally unique farm location, (only available to those staying at the farm), sit back and enjoy watching lambs gambling in a field as the sun goes down. You may even be lucky enough to witness a lamb being born or be able to bottle fed an orphan, tame lamb too! We love sharing these special moments on a farm with you.

Family time on a farm during Easter school holidays is such a special time, especially as there are so many Easter Egg hunts going on in North Devon too.
